In it's fifty year run, j-hope is the first Korean soloist to perform a solo stage in Times Square on Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve.

j-hope follows in the footsteps of Psy who performed a collaborative stage with MC Hammer in 2012, and j-hope's own path with BTS performing in Times Square in 2019. BTS also performed on the show from Los Angeles in 2017. j-hope performs three songs. His Grammy nominated single '= (Equal Sign)' from his critically acclaimed album, 'Jack In The Box",  his 2019 Billboard ranked single feat. Becky G, 'Chicken Noodle Soup', and a shortened rendition of BTS's 'Butter: Holiday Remix'
